Headset Guide for Five9
This guide lists headsets that Leedar Systems recommends for your VCC agents and supervisors. These headsets are tested by Leedar Systems personnel, and are proven to work effectively with Five9 applications in the listed operating systems.
Use this guide only as reference when acquiring headsets: test results can vary depending on your hardware, network traffic, operating systems, and general work environment. To ensure that you select the best headsets for your environment, test the headsets before purchasing them.
Five9 recommends USB-connected headsets with noise-canceling features. Five9 does not recommend wireless (non-USB and analog) headsets because when more than 10 agents are active simultaneously, voice quality and other audio characteristics may be impacted, which would result in a customer experience of low quality. If you plan to use wireless headsets, test them thoroughly in your environment.
For the iPad, you can use any headset that is compatible with A2DP-compatible
(Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) Bluetooth device certified by Apple for use with iPad devices. Important The recommendations in this guide apply only to voice quality and general compatibility of headsets with the current Five9 software implementation.
For information about support for headset call controls, contact your Leedar Systems sales representative. Important If you report voice quality issues with wireless or unapproved headsets, you may be asked to test and analyze the network characteristics in your work environment to determine whether the wireless or unapproved headsets are contributing to the issues.
